To celebrate its new ownership Moberly Gymnastics and Cheerleading Academy had a Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, June 9 at 315 West Coates Street in Moberly.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet new owners Abbi and Tahlor Fowlkes and learn more about the expansion for the business here in Moberly. The ribbon cutting was held, and light refreshments were served afterward.

Moberly Gymnastics Academy offers gymnastic training and is the home of Rage All-Star Cheer squads.
“We are really excited, and we have lot of experienced coaches, and we are really excited to run with this,” said Abbi Fowlkes.

The opportunity came about after former owner, Vicki Howard contacted them about purchasing the business. Abbi grew up surrounded by gymnastics after training at this location for 10 years and coaching the gymnasts following her training. Due to her background, she knew it would be an excellent fit.
Megan Schmitt, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce stated, “It is very exciting to see Moberly Gymnastics Academy continue as a sports pillar for youth in our community. Abbi and Tahlor have so many great ideas we know that they will continue to make this business a success.”
Moberly Gymnastics Academy has been in operation since 1982 ran by Abbi’s Godmother, Vicki Miller and following her ownership it was operated by Vicki Howard.
Attendees can contact Moberly Gymnastics in person from 4-7pm at their location, by phone at 660-263-5570 or on their Facebook page.
This event was held in conjunction with the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce. To learn more about how you can get a ribbon cutting scheduled for your business contact the Chamber at 660-263-6070.
