Our Ambassadors
What is an Ambassador?
As a Chamber Ambassador, you are a front line representative for the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce at public and Chamber sponsored events/activities. You will assist in the promotion, volunteer support and development of various Chamber sponsored events. As an Ambassador, your dedication, time and efforts are very appreciated & highly valued by the Board of Directors, Chamber Staff & Membership during your term. You ARE the backbone of the Moberly Chamber of Commerce.
What are the criteria & expectations?
- If applicable, a signature of a supervisor for support of the Moberly Chamber Ambassador Program is required, to ensure that the Business is aware of what the Ambassador Program entails.
- You may obtain points in the following ways:
- 5 points for showing your support at a ribbon cutting
- 5 points for participating in Coffee Chat
- 20 points for bringing in a new Chamber member
- 10 points helping with an Event Set Up/Tear Down
- You may obtain points in the following ways:
- Becoming an Ambassador means being committed to conduct oneself in a manner that generated community trust and confidence in the Moberly Chamber of Commerce and Ambassador Program. You will personally promote high standard, ethics & integrity.
- Lastly, Ambassadors are a dynamic and very diverse group of individuals and we want you to have a good time and enjoy being an Ambassador! When you would like to step down as Ambassador, please let the Chamber Staff know, as we never want your time as an Ambassador to be (or feel like) a burden.
Why You’re Earning Points
Every time you participate, volunteer, attend, or go above and beyond as an ambassador, you’re earning points! The ambassador with the highest point total by the Annual Ambassador Luncheon will win a special award and be recognized for their outstanding involvement.
