Little Dixie Regional Library hosted a ribbon cutting for the new Lit Locker on October 27 at 4:00pm at the Randolph County Health Department.
This locker is located at the Randolph County Health Department and is the perfect piece of technology for those that may not be able to make it in person to the library.
Library card users can place the materials on hold at ldrl.org/catalog then wait for the hold notification. Once that is done they are able to go to the Lit Locker, scan their library card and pick up their materials.
“The Little Dixie Regional Library is expanding their services and offerings once again in the community, which is exciting to see. The Lit Locker is a great example of what can happen from community partnerships” said Executive Director of the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce Megan Schmitt.
The locker
was made possible by a state grant, donations from the Orscheln Foundation,
Friends of the Library and the Randolph County Health Department. The lit
locker is available for access by library members 24/7.
