MACC SHOWCASES NEW PROGRAMS

On July 26, 2022 we co-hosted a Chamber After Hours at Moberly Area Community College inside of Area 27 to showcase several new things going on at the Moberly campus.

The first new showcase was to introduce some of the new baseball & softball players that will be members of the inaugural teams this fall.

MACC President, Dr. Lashley spoke on the importance of these programs that they will be not only to Moberly, but to MACC as a whole. These programs will play at Howard Hills Athletic Complex during their season.

Due to the addition of these new students that will be on Moberly’s campus, new dormitories were designated as a priority to house these new students at. The dorms are currently under construction, but are set to be completed in the next couple of weeks.

Attendees had the opportunity to walk through the new dorms which was formerly the MACC Bookstore.

Another aspect of the After Hours was to showcase the new food service company that will located inside of Area 27. This company will be open seven days a week and open to not only students, but the public for dining. They will also be able to serve on site catering to banquets and conferences that are held on campus.

Attendees had the opportunity to mingle and socialize before dorm tours.

Due to the extensive renovation costs of the dorms and upgrading Howard Hills Athletic Complex Fields MACC is fundraising to help support with these endeavors.
