ACCOUNTING FIRM EXPANDS TO MOBERLY - Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce

To celebrate the opening of their second location in Moberly, Winfrey Certified Public Accountant (CPA) hosted a ribbon cutting and open house at 615 South Morley on Wednesday, January 6th at 3:00 pm.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet co-owners Harry Winfrey, Jane Rasmussen and their staff. The ribbon cutting was held, and light refreshments were served afterward.

Rasmussen explained how everything fell into place opening their new location,

“I was getting calls from another tax preparer here in Randolph County saying that she needed help and [they] referred some clients to us. Then I found out that another accounting firm was closing.”

She went on to say that those shortages showcased a need to her, she found an office manager quickly afterwards and everything fell into place opening a second location.

Some of the services they provide include tax preparation, small business consultations, auditing and accounting services.

Megan Schmitt, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce stated, “It is very exciting to see a new business opening here in Moberly. There is a need for additional tax professionals in the region and the Winfrey team will provide a great resource to those in Randolph County.”

Winfrey CPA’s additional location can be found in Columbia.
